Chardham By Surface

Description

Chardham Yatra by Surface
( 05 Nights 06 Days )

One of the most popular pilgrimages in northern India is the Char Dham Yatra, which is a series of four Hindu shrines located in the Indian Himalayas. At least once in their lives, Hindu devotees travel from all over the world to attend the yatra. Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath are the temples of the Char Dham Yatra, and they are all located in the Garwhal area of the state of Uttarakhand. While Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Kedarnath is dedicated to Lord Shiva, Yamunotri and Gangotri are dedicated to two distinct revers, Yamuna and Ganga.

The greatest elevation among these four is at 3,500 metres, where Kedarnath is located. Due to excessive snowfall, Yatra closes in the winter and reopens in the summer.
